HALF A CENTURY OF HAPPY HOLIDAYS
It was fifty years ago when Gordon and Felicity Routh scanned through Hoseason’s brochure looking for somewhere to take their two little girls and tiny baby on holiday. They chose Clippesby Holidays but, unsure if they would like it, they only booked a week and duly arrived here in the June of 1972.
They did like it, so they came back for a second week in September and, as a family, they have been coming back every year for fifty years ever since.
When asked “What brings you back?” Felicity said “The people and the place.” She has seen many changes as the Park evolved to meet the changing needs and expectations of visitors but the family, together with their dedicated team, remain committed to providing a happy holiday experience for everyone who comes to stay at Clippesby Hall
