Following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we would like to offer our condolences to the Royal Family and to all those whose lives she touched during her remarkable reign.
On Monday 19th September, Clippesby Hall will remain open throughout this day although certain areas will close for business. We believe this is a very special and important opportunity for staff who wish to pay their respects. The opening times and schedule should help you make plans for this day. We sincerely hope you will understand and accept the changes we are making and adapt with us to ensure you can make the most of your visit.
Reception
Although closed, it will still be possible to leave telephone messages, email, and book online. We will get back to you as required. If you are due to arrive on Monday, there will be a check in notice board with arrivals information along with a map to indicate your pitch or accommodation. May we remind you, camping arrivals are from 12:30 p.m. and accommodation is from 4 p.m.
If you are departing on this day, please vacate your pitch by 11 a.m. or leave your accommodation by 10 a.m. there will be a key drop off point in reception.
BASECAMP (bar, restaurant, café, shop)
Open with service from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and then 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. the premises will be open for you with a television which will be following the Queens final journey, feel free to visit this venue but please be aware there will be no service throughout.
Shower blocks
Toilet and shower blocks will be open. We kindly ask you to be extra mindful of any guests who will follow on from you. The shower blocks will be serviced in the morning and late afternoon.
