With a large number of existing bookings already in place from July, we are making changes going forward for the summer to best protect and safeguard our visitors before we completely fill the park.
We are currently working via email only, therefore if you would like to check availability and provisionally book, please use our website. If we are able to accept your booking the deposit will be taken and a confirmation email sent to you.
Due to social distancing guidelines we cannot accept new bookings for groups of more than 2 families. There is a strong possibility you will not be able to socialise at any one pitch with those outside of your immediate family.
Please only proceed with your booking if you are happy to abide by potentially strict social distancing measures. If we remain closed and this affects your booking, this can be transferred to another time or a credit held for when you are ready to rebook.
We will be incorporating social distancing measures when we reopen, how we will action this as a holiday park is something we are currently assessing in line with the Government guidelines and tourism expectations. Please be aware that this may mean restricting some of the amenities on site. We plan to open our cafe, bar and restaurant BASECAMP for takeaways.
We are also awaiting further guidance with regards to shower and toilet facilities. Because of this we are recommending that guests are as self-sufficient as possible in order to adhere to social distancing.
Any holiday post pandemic will be different for us all and we appreciate this may change people’s perception and desire to go camping. We aim to do the best we can and believe camping and touring, exploring the lovely natural areas in and around Clippesby, can be safe and enjoyable for all guests if we are all mindful of each other along the way.
